Kase 100 x 150mm Solid ND64 Filter (6-Stop)

This Kase 100 × 150mm Wolverine Solid Neutral Density 1.8 Filter is compatible with a Kase 100mm Filter Holder or other filter holders that can accommodate 100mm wide, 2mm thick filters. Its 1.8 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By increasing your aperture or slowing your exposure time, you can control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.

Kase Wolverine filters are constructed from tempered, optical glass for shock resistance. To prevent internal ghosting and reflections, while further enhancing clarity and color fidelity, each glass surface includes multiple layers of anti-reflection coatings. These coatings also offer greater protection to the filter substrate and help it to stay clean for longer than with uncoated filters.

This 100 × 150mm solid neutral density filter is 50% longer than a 100 × 100mm solid neutral density filter. Its extra length provides additional handling surface to help prevent fingerprints from accumulating on the section of the filter that would be positioned in front of a lens. As a result, the appearance of fingerprints in an image or recording made with this filter can also be prevented. A padded pouch is included for storage and transport.
