Return Policy
7-Day Exchange Policy
- You can exchange any product within 7 days of purchase under the following conditions:
- The product must be sealed/unopened and in its original condition with all packaging and the purchase invoice.
- If no suitable product is available for exchange, you will receive a store credit or gift card for the amount paid at the time of purchase.
Change of Mind or Incorrect Purchase
If you change your mind or realize you purchased the wrong product:
- An exchange is possible within 7 days if the product is in original, unopened condition.
- No refunds will be issued for change of mind.
Exclusions
The following items are excluded from the 7-day exchange policy unless faulty:
- Headphones/Earphones
- Personal Care Items (e.g., shavers)
- VR Headsets
- Extended Warranties
- Wearables
- Incorrectly Supplied Products
If you receive the wrong product, we will:
- Supply the correct product (if available) or issue a refund
- The incorrect product must be unused and in resalable condition.
- Notify us within 7 days of purchase/delivery.
Products Damaged in Transit
If your product is damaged during delivery:
- We will replace the item (if available) or issue a refund
- Notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
Faulty Products
If your product is faulty upon arrival or during first use:
- We will repair, replace, or provide a refund in line with the Consumer Guarantees Act.
- The product must be returned to us for testing and verification of the fault.
- Returns of this nature must be made within 14 days of purchase/delivery.
Warranty Claims
If your product becomes faulty within the warranty period:
- We will repair, replace, or provide a refund if a suitable replacement is unavailable.
- You are responsible for the cost of returning the product to us.
- You may also contact the manufacturer directly for repairs or replacement.
Restocking and Testing Fees
A restocking fee of 6% may apply for returns accepted at our discretion.
If a returned product is found to be not faulty, a testing fee and return freight charges may be applied.
Refund Policy
- We do not provide refunds for change of mind purchases, so please choose carefully.
- If the product is faulty or does not comply with the guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act, we will provide a repair, replacement, or refund as required.
Additional Information
- Freight charges will not be credited.
- If purchased online, we will arrange for collection of incorrectly supplied or damaged goods at our cost, where applicable under the Consumer Guarantees Act. Otherwise, you will be responsible for all delivery and insurance costs for returning goods.
Warranty Policy
For peace of mind, we offer the following warranty coverage:
- 6-month warranty on all pre-owned products.
- 12-month warranty on all brand-new products.
- 3-month warranty on all refurbished/reconditioned products (unless otherwise specified).

Warranty Terms & Conditions
Warranty repairs may take up to 21 working days unless otherwise notified.
- The warranty period starts from the invoice date and ends after the specified duration.
- Warranty is void if the product has physical damage, liquid damage, or has been tampered with.
How to Claim Your Warranty
To make a claim, you will need:
- The original receipt from the website or store where you purchased the product.
- Tip: Keep your receipt safe, as warranty claims cannot be processed without proof of purchase.
Warranty Exclusions
The following conditions are not covered under warranty:
General Exclusions
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches and cosmetic defects.
- Liquid damage, such as water spills or internal moisture damage.
- Theft, fire, or any other accidental damage.
Damage Caused By:
- Misuse or abuse, including dropping, crushing, or mishandling.
- Incorrect operation or failure to follow manufacturer instructions.
- Improper installation or use of non-authorized accessories.
- Neglect or poor maintenance, including failure to clean or maintain the product.
- Electrical issues, such as power surges or incorrect voltage.
- Exposure to extreme conditions, including excessive heat, dampness, or corrosion.
- Use of non-standard, defective, or incompatible parts.
- Software-related issues, including password resets and computer viruses.
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications by a non-TechCrazy technician.
Important: If a product has been opened, repaired, or tampered with by a third party without TechCrazy’s authorization, the warranty will be void.
Special Note for Car Audio Products
The manufacturer’s warranty is void if the product is damaged due to:
- Improper installation
- Power surges or electrical faults
- Professional installation is required. A valid invoice or certificate from the installer is mandatory for any warranty claim.
Additional Conditions
- A minimum $49 fee applies if a product is found to have liquid or physical damage.
- All goods remain the property of TechCrazy until full payment is received.
- If parts are installed on a repair item, they remain TechCrazy’s property until payment is settled.
- While we take utmost care, TechCrazy is not responsible for data loss unless agreed upon before starting the repair.
- If you cannot be contacted within 30 days of service completion or assessment, TechCrazy reserves the right to retain the equipment in lieu of payment.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
