Return Policy

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you must notify us in writing within 14 days for us to review & respond. Please contact us via the Order History in your Account dashboard within 14 days of purchase so that we can resolve any problems.

Note: Contact must be made within 14 days of purchase & returned within 28 days of original purchase date, if the refund is approved.

Please give us the opportunity to rectify any issues you may be experiencing in the first instance (often its a simple fix). Before we can approve a refund we will arrange a video call with our support team. This will enable us to review the issue & determine the resolution. A refund cannot be provided until this process has been completed and the appliance has been assessed by our technical team. If the appliance is faulty as determined by our technical support team a full refund will be provided.

Note: This refund/returns policy does not apply to goods which have not been used in accordance with the instructions supplied with your appliance. (eg, the appliance has not been used correctly or has not been maintained as per the instructions included with the appliance)

A restocking fee of 15% of the invoice value applies to all products returned that are “not faulty” and returned for “change of mind” within the returns period. (The restocking fee will cover the costs of transport, transaction fees, reworking & repackaging the returned appliance). All products must be returned in their original condition with all original accessories, all freight & insurance costs are to be paid by the buyer. Outside the 28 day period all appliances are covered by our 2 year back to base repair warranty. Simply make contact and we will arrange warranty support.

We recommend that you return the product via registered post or courier, Laurastar & Hizero Australia will not arrange transportation for change of mind. You assume any risk of loss, theft or damage during transit & therefore advise you to take out insurance with your chosen carrier. You must return all original packing and accessories with the appliance. The appliance must be fully cleaned and all water removed or a cleaning fee of $75 will be deducted from the refund amount. Missing or broken accessories will also be deducted off the refund amount. In the case where the goods are faulty as determined by a Hizero technician they will be replaced or refunded within the first 28 days (no fees apply).

Requests for a refund outside the above listed period will not be accepted. They will be covered by our 2 year back to base repair warranty. If you request a refund for a “change of mind” before goods are dispatched you will be refunded the purchase price less the transaction fees related to the payment method you originally used. Contact us for full details and costs. Note all promotions are not in conjunction with any other offer.

We must provide a Return Authority (RA) number before any goods can be returned.

Goods cannot be returned without an RA number which can only be supplied by customer support.

Shipping Policy

Laurastar & Hizero Australia will endeavour to process all orders within 5-7 business days. Shipping times will vary by location. A tracking email will be sent once your order has been processed, note we use Australia Post or Direct Freight Express. When ordering accessories with a Hizero they will be sent separately.

You will receive tracking numbers by email once your order has been processed.

Warranty Policy

Laurastar & Hizero Australia has a 2 year back to base repair warranty (note consumables such as rollers have a 30 day warranty).

Limited 2 Year Warranty: The warranty entitles the Original purchaser from the date of purchase to free labour and replacement parts for a period of 2 years. (Please note: the warranty provided is a repair warranty & all repairs will be completed in one of our service centres) Laurastar & Hizero Australia or one of its approved service agents will during business hours repair or replace any part which in the opinion of the manufacturer is defective due to faulty materials or workmanship, provided the appliance has been operated in accordance with the manufacturers instructions (as per booklet). If the appliance has been used in a commercial environment or purpose the warranty is 3 months (commercial warranty covers any activity where the user receives financial remuneration or use is considered beyond normal domestic conditions).

The purchaser will be responsible for paying all transportation costs to and from an approved service centre, and any loss or damages incurred in connection with transportation will be at the purchaser’s expense.

Consumables will not be covered under this warranty- i.e. cleaning roller & brush roller

This warranty will be null and void if the following incidents have occurred:

  • The appliance has been misused, neglected or accidently dropped/damaged.
  • The appliance has been repaired or a repair attempted by an unauthorised service centre.
  • The appliance has not been used as per the instructions provided in the manual
  • Failure to regularly clean the appliance in accordance with the instructions can void your warranty

The appliance will be assessed by a qualified technician to determine warranty eligibility if the above circumstances apply. Warranty service will NOT be provided unless a valid proof of purchase receipt is provided at the time warranty service is requested. If a receipt cannot be provided the production date will be used as the date of purchase of the appliance.

Nothing contained herein shall restrict, reduce, modify or exclude any rights granted under any applicable Australian legislation.

DO NOT return the appliance to the retailer unless you have spoken with an authorised HIZERO representative first and been advised to do so. All technical support is performed by HIZERO Australia.

Please retain a proof of purchase receipt in the event of a warranty claim.

Subject to applicable law, Laurastar & Hizero Australia is not liable for incidental, or consequential damages of any nature associated with the use of this product.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
