Foursquare Convocation 14 Year Old Exceptional Cask Selection XXVIII Rum

The Exceptional Cask Selection is a small-batch vatting of Foursquare rums using some of the best-performing casks in their portfolio. Convocation Single Blended Rum is the 28^th release in Foursquare's acclaimed Exceptional Cask Selection series.
The Convocation 2024 release combines pot and column distilled rum, matured for 14 years in ex-bourbon barrels and ex-Madeira casks before being bottled at 62% ABV.

Nose: Juicy sultanas, pineapple, and zesty orange peel. Gentle notes of butterscotch underpin delicate nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger.

Taste: A soft, sweet rush of underripe pineapple, green banana, ripe plum, more sultanas and gentle toffee.

Finish: A warming embrace of oak, with an abundance of astringency, dates, cinnamon and ginger that lasts and lasts.
