The AE4016 has been developed as a highly flexible 6dBi UHF CB Antenna to suit the needs of 4WD and Agricultural vehicles when travelling in rough terrain.

Specially designed to be ground independent with a unique impedance transformer that allows for the whip to be removed from the base reducing clearance issues when mounted on vehicles. The highly flexible whip reduces the chance of damage when travelling in rugged terrain.

This antenna is supplied with a mounting base, 5 meters of low-loss coaxial cable terminated with an FME connection.

Is the GME AE4016 Antenna Right for me?

Alongside considerations of Installation requirements, you need to consider the Gain Rating of your Antenna and how it will impact your use.

The AE4016 from GME is a 6dBi/medium-gain antenna, providing a more rounded, broader pattern than a high gain (8.1dBi) antenna or unity gain antenna (2.1dBi). Meaning the signal is less likely to be obstructed by obstacles such as buildings, trees or mountains. These factors make a medium gain antenna the best choice for those in suburban areas and the countryside.
