GME AE4012 is a rugged, high-performance antenna whip to suit Australia’s harsh conditions. Built to last, the stainless steel whip range from GME is durable and is mounted onto any antenna base with a 5/16” antenna connection. This stainless steel whip has a 2.5mm diameter with the centre coil style, pre-tuned to UHF 477 MHz. These antennas will outperform any stainless steel whip on the market.

As with all stainless steel whips of this style, it is not recommended for installation on diesel 4WD vehicles.

Is the GME AE4012 Antenna Right for me?

Alongside considerations of Installation requirements, you need to consider the Gain Rating of your Antenna and how it will impact your use.

The AE4012 from GME is a 6.6dBi/medium-gain antenna, providing a more rounded, broader pattern than a high gain (8.1dBi) antenna or unity gain antenna (2.1dBi). Meaning the signal is less likely to be obstructed by obstacles such as buildings, trees or mountains. These factors make a medium gain antenna the best choice for those in suburban areas and the countryside.
