Many of us have damaged a garment due to a sticky residue on our iron. Magic Iron Baseplate Cleaner dissolves and removes sticky residue from the bottom of your iron. Reducing the risk of damaging garments when ironing. Making your iron’s baseplate clean and ready to use.

How to Use

1. Apply a thick layer of Magic Iron Baseplate Cleaner™ onto the stained area of the cold baseplate.

2. Turn to wool setting and switch iron on. Once the Magic Iron Baseplate Cleaner™ starts to sizzle, switch iron off. DO NOT allow cleaner to dry on the baseplate.

3. Using the attached scourer pad, rub vigourously in a circular motion until stain disappears.

4. Wipe off excess with a damp cloth. Clean steam holes with a wet cotton bud.

5. After use, clean scourer pad using cold water.

Handy Hint: To prolong the life of your steam iron; descale your iron regularly using Magic All Purpose Descaler™. This will prevent element damage caused by scale build-up.

Q. I applied the Iron Baseplate Cleaner™ to my iron base when it was hot and it didn’t remove all the marks?
A. If you apply the Iron Baseplate Cleaner™ to a hot iron base, the solvent in the product will evaporate instantly. Make sure that the iron base is only warm, not hot.

Q. I applied the Iron Baseplate Cleaner™ to my iron base and it didn’t bring off all the baked-on marks?
A. Apply a thick layer on the baseplate, cover with glad wrap, and leave overnight. It should easily wipe off in the morning, you can you a Non-scratch scourer if necessary

Q. I have just bought your tube of Iron Baseplate Cleaner™ and it looks like its half-empty?
A. There is 50g of product inside the tube. We had to make the tube the size it is to fit all directions and safety warnings on there. We can assure you, there is 50g inside the tube.

Q. I bought a tube of Iron Baseplate Cleaner™ but the sponge has melted, is that normal?
A. No, you must have had the base plate turned up too high before using.
