GODFATHER HISTORY

Devans Modern Breweries Ltd., the flagship company of the DeVANS group who owns Godfather Beer, was established in 1961 by Mr Dewan Gian Chand, a pioneer industrialist of Jammu & Kashmir. The company, besides having a brewery in Jammu has set up a modern, state of the art brewery at Kotputli, Rajasthan which was commissioned in 2006. Here it manufactures international quality beers, both in bottles and cans and has a total manufacturing capacity of 1,150,000 hectoliters. The Rajasthan plant, set up as per the strictest of global standards, is one of the most modern in the country, producing fine world class beers.

Godfather Beer is an easy to drink lager brewed using the best malts available in India and quality German bitter and aromatic hops. Godfather Beer is available in two variants having alcohol strengths of 8% with a clean, hoppy and malt flavor.

DeVANS has received a number of awards for adhering to quality parameters and is a family company – now in its third generation.
