The Department of Agriculture and Food, Western Australia's Quarantine WA service enforces strict biosecurity legislation, so we are unable to ship this product to Western Australia (WA). Nevertheless, there are quarantine requirements for seeds and plants to be treated chemically before shipments can be sent to some states, and we are simply unable to supply the necessary quarantine clearance certificates for this reason.

Red Celosia's have gorgeous, tall fiery magenta flower spikes with dark contrasting leaves, which last over an extended period in a hot sunny position. Growing as an annual to 40cm, it's an extremely popular and long-lasting cut flower. 

How to Grow

Celosia can be sown direct or in trays with 5mm covering. When 6cm transplant, 40cm apart. Prefers well drained soil - ideal for hot sunny positions. Flowers throughtout Summer-Autumn.  

• Pests include snails & slugs. Use Organic snail pellets for control.
• Sow Spring - Summer
• Seed packet contains approx. 250+ seeds
• Approx. 1300 Seeds per gram.
• 90-100 days to Flowering.

Uses

• Striking colourful garden display, perfect for mass planting or borders.  Extremely popular in flower arrangements - good cut flower. Can be dried for everlasting bouquets.
