Small and flighty, it is difficult to see and even more difficult to catch, so a seeker is required to have excellent perception and finessed coordination on a broomstick. The snitch is only catchable by each team’s seeker – for any other player to catch the snitch would be to commit a foul known as a ‘Snitchnip’.
