• The multipurpose cable tester is a professional tool for finding and testing telephone and network cables.
• It has two modes of operation, the scanning allows users to plug a cable to the tester and the receiver will sound an alert as you are moving the receiver closer to where the other end of the cable.
• Useful for tracing your connections from a wall port to the patch panels or networking equipment.
• The test mode (LAN only) can be used for shorts and cross testing by injecting at one end of the cable and indicating at the receiver with the LED indicator.
