A Deluxe Stainless Steel Back Brace- 22mm Round is used to secure the centre of the animal to the skewer by being mounted around the spine and affixed to the skewer. This is essential for effective cooking of a whole animal as when the meat cooks it becomes limp and without a back brace you'll likely find your cook in the coals.
