SURGEx S25-F NPT Stainless Steel Bellows Water Hammer Arrestor DN25 1 NPT

SURGEx S25-F is a size F, pre-charged, surge pressure absorber (also called Water Hammer Arrester (WHA) or surge arrestor). SURGEx-S series is fabricated from stainless steel grade 304 as standard and is fitted internally with stainless steel bellows. The end connection of SURGEx-S25-F is male threaded size 1” according to NPT. SURGEx-S series can withstand pressures up to 400 PSIG (27.6 BAR) and temperature range from -100°F to 300°F (-73°C to 149°C).

OPERATION
SURGEx-S series water hammer arresters use stainless-steel bellows as the main component to absorb the shock waves caused by water hammer. When a water hammer occurs, the bellows compresses as water rushes into the arrester, creating a cushioning effect that absorbs the pressure surge. As the water flow slows down and pressure stabilizes, the bellows returns to its original position, ready to absorb the next water hammer.
