"The trays are not very tall and are not internal so cant remove on to make a level higher. I couldnt fit whole figs in them. They are also fairly flimsy plastic so if the lid breaks the whole thing is useless. the power/timer button is glitchy and it is quite difficult to set the timer The instruction manual is fairly pointless. No guidance is given for what foods should be deydrated at what temperature let alone timelines. it gives a jerky recipe but doesnt say what temperature to use nothing on storage after dehydration either. I would say spend another 100 bucks and get a more oven like model with removable trays which is going to last longer and be more flexible in its use (ie you could then use it to prove bread as well)"
