Three flagships, one family
Announced at Galaxy Unpacked on 26 February 2026 and available in stores from 11 March, the Galaxy S26 Series offers a model for every type of user. The compact Galaxy S26 features a 6.3-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED display and a 4,300mAh battery – larger than the S25 – starting from AU$1,549. The Galaxy S26+ steps up to a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ display with 20W wireless charging, starting from AU$1,849. The flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra goes all in with a 6.9-inch display, 200MP primary camera with an industry-widest f/1.4 aperture, a built-in S Pen, and Samsung's fastest-ever wired charging at 60W – from AU$2,199. All models start at 256GB storage with 12GB RAM.
Next-gen chips and all-day performance
The Galaxy S26 and S26+ are powered by Samsung's new Exynos 2600 processor, while the S26 Ultra runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 – both built on 3nm technology for exceptional speed and efficiency. All models support Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 5G, USB-C 3.2 and NFC. Android 16 with One UI 8.5 comes pre-installed, and Samsung has committed to 7 years of OS and security updates through to 2033.
Galaxy AI: smarter, more proactive
Galaxy AI is the star of the S26 software experience. The new Now Nudge feature reads on-screen context and proactively surfaces shortcuts – finding photos when someone asks for them, suggesting calendar entries from messages and more. Now Brief delivers personalised insights based on saved information like booking details and birthdays. Bixby has also been upgraded through a partnership with Perplexity for natural-language web searches. Photo Assist now supports written prompts across 41 languages for faster, smarter photo editing.
Camera upgrades and the world-first Privacy Display
The S26 and S26+ retain their proven triple-camera system: 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide and 10MP 3x telephoto. The S26 Ultra upgrades to a quad-camera array headlined by a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide and a 50MP periscope 5x telephoto with the new All Lens On Prism mechanism for sharper long-distance shots. New to the entire S26 range is Super Steady with Horizon Lock for shake-free video even when rotating 360°. The S26 Ultra also debuts Samsung's Privacy Display – an industry-first hardware feature that narrows the screen's viewing angle at the touch of a button, keeping sensitive information away from prying eyes.
