Return Policy 

At Relaxio, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. Our return and refund policy complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) and Fair Trading Act 1986 of New Zealand.

1. Your Rights Under New Zealand Consumer Law

Under the CGA, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if the goods you receive are:

  • Faulty or damaged
  • Not of acceptable quality
  • Not fit for the purpose you purchased them for
  • Not as described or do not match the sample/model

These guarantees apply regardless of any store policies, and cannot be excluded by us.

2. Faulty or Damaged Products

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order. We will arrange for:

  • Repair, if the issue is minor, or
  • Replacement or full refund, if the fault is major or cannot be resolved within a reasonable time.

We may request photo or video evidence of the issue before proceeding.

3. How to Request a Return or Refund

To initiate a return, please contact our support team via the Order History in your Account dashboard.

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Relevant photos or video (if applicable)

We will respond within 2 business days to assist with next steps.

4. Return Shipping

  • For items being returned due to our error (e.g., faulty, damaged, wrong item), we cover return shipping.
  • For items returned due to change of mind (if approved), return shipping is at your cost.

5. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, certain items cannot be returned, including:

  • Used massage chairs or accessories (unless faulty)
  • Custom orders or clearance items (unless faulty)

6. Refunds

Once your return is approved and received (if applicable), we will process your refund via your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
