If the item arrived faulty or did not work as intended, we will arrange for the replacement or refund of your item after it has been returned and tested.
If the item arrived damaged or has been incorrectly supplied, you must contact us to within seven (7) days of delivery to lodge a claim.
A Returns Authorisation number will be provided by Play for goods that the customer wishes to return.
Returned goods will only be accepted by Play if they are delivered with a Returns Authorisation number.
All returns are subject to inspection by Play.
Faulty items will be covered under our Warranty Policy.
Refunds will be performed using the same method as original payment.
Your order will be shipped using a tracked courier service and a tracking link will be provided.
*Delivery is available to New Zealand addresses only at this stage.
*Play reserves the right to not ship to remote or rural locations.
All products sold by Play come with a twelve-month New Zealand warranty, excluding consumables (batteries, screen protectors etc.) which carry a three-month warranty.
You are required to retain your sales receipt as proof of purchase. You will be required to present this for any warranty claims.
Without the receipt the warranty becomes null and void.
Please note:
Warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Liquid/moisture, sand/dust, impact or any other damage will not be covered under the warranty.
It is a requirement for the fulfilment of refunds, exchanges and replacements that customers have used their best endeavours to return faulty products complete with the out of the box accessories supplied at the time of the original purchase.
This policy is in addition to, and is not intended to limit, any rights or remedies you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act NZ (CGA).
This policy does not impact your rights where a product may be faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied. If an item is faulty/damaged/incorrectly supplied, we will meet our obligations under the CGA to provide a remedy.
The CGA do not apply to goods purchased from Play for commercial, resale or trade use.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
