Return Policies

If the product arrives and the shipping box is damaged, please do not accept the package, and do a return and report to E-Readers shop with photos as soon as possible. We will send you a new device once we receive your damaged item.

Customers could get a full refund if the product has hardware or quality problem when arrived. Please note that customers shall bear the transaction fees caused by currency exchange or refund when purchasing from E-Readers shop. E-Readers shop could only arrange the refund to customers when we have received the product.

Customers’ Return & Refund Requests Will Be Rejected Or Only Get A Partial Refund In The Following Circumstances:

1. Refund request will be rejected if the product arrived after 14 days of receipt of shipment.

2. Refund request will be rejected if the product without any defect or hardware issue arrived after 30 days of receipt of shipment.

3. Refund request will be rejected if the device has been damaged by customers, such as scratches on screen or if the device have been lost by customers.

Within 30 days of receipt of shipment, customers will only get a partial refund to cancel an already confirmed order for personal reasons and the product is without quality issues. In this case, customers must be responsible for shipping fees and customs tariffs to return the products without any hardware issues. If not, your refund request will be rejected.

Shipping Information

The estimated shipping time for normal order is 7-15 business days after delivery. And the estimated shipping time for the pre-orders will be within 30 days. For the accessory order only, it will take 7-30 business days. 

Please note that customer shall be responsible for any additional fee caused by redirect request on your side, when the product has been shipped already. 

The Customer acknowledges that delays to the estimated dispatch and delivery date may occur. E-Readers NZ shall not be held liable for delays to the estimated delivery in the following circumstances:

E-Readers NZ shall not be held liable for delays to the estimated delivery date provided natural disaster, strike and customs inspection occur during delivery.

The product will be delivered to the delivery address specified by the Customer in the order form. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the correct address is registered at all times, and E-Readers NZ shall not be liable for any loss resulting from the Customer’s failure to update his delivery address.

In order to avoid package change address fraud cases, E-Readers NZ would be not allowed to modify the shipping information for customers after your order is confirmed. Therefore, If your shipping information is incorrect, please contact us via email to cancel your order and reorder to fill out the correct one. Besides, if you contact us after the package has been sent out, the shipping information can’t be modified and your order could not be canceled as well.

Delivery has occurred when the Customer, or his representative, has taken possession of the Product. The risk of the Product passes to the Customer when he or his representative has received the Product. If the Product is not collected or received on time, and if this is due to the Customer or circumstances related to the Customer, the risk passes to the Customer when the item is at his disposal and the failure to take possession of the Product constitutes a breach of contract by the Customer. E-Readers NZ reserves the right to charge the Customer for extra shipping costs due to Customer’s failure to collect the Products in time.

Warranty Policy

According to the E-Readers Nz related policies, there is a one-year warranty for any product purchased from E-Readers NZ. What is more, E-Readers shop will be responsible for the shipping fees (back and forth) if the product need to be sent back to check or repair because of the quality problems within 30 days of receipt. After 30 days, E-Readers NZ and customer should share the shipping fees.

There is a 2-year warranty for any product purchased from E-Readers NZ

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
