Orku Potassium Chloride Powder (KCl) is a high purity food grade mineral salt containing potassium chloride. It is commonly used in food production as a salt replacement, flavouring ingredient and potassium source in a variety of food formulations.

Potassium chloride powder is commonly used in seasoning blends, processed foods and reduced sodium recipes where sodium chloride may be partially replaced. It has a naturally slightly bitter and mildly metallic taste compared with regular salt, which is characteristic of potassium based mineral salts.

Supplied as a fine white crystalline powder containing a permitted anti caking agent, it is packaged in a resealable pouch for convenient storage and handling.

Please note: Potassium chloride has a naturally bitter and slightly metallic taste, which is characteristic of this mineral salt and normal for KCl – based products. Intended for use as a food ingredient and not for direct consumption on its own.
