The Dyson V11 vacuum uses two types of batteries: the screw – in installation model and the button installation model. This is a screw – in battery and is not compatible with button type batteries. You can identify your battery type by checking the connection at the machine handle. If there is a large red button that releases the battery, your machine requires a button mount type battery. If not, choose this standard screw – in battery.
