The Dome Trigger Mount is designed for GoPro Hero 7 Black Hero and Hero 5 action cameras. This device moves the waterline away from the lens making it possible to capture images both above and below the water simultaneously. Easy to operate, nearly infinite depth of field, wide-angle lens and video and still image quality make the camera perfectly suited for this application.

The dome port utilizes a custom made semi-hemispherical acrylic dome that has been optically matched to work for the GoPro Hero 5/6/7 Black lens. The package includes a housing case and floating hand grip which means all you need is a camera to produce stunning imagery.

The Dome Trigger Mount has specifically been designed for underwater photography with a red filter lens that is installed inside the dome. The red colour correction filter will ensure photos and videos taken underwater are not affected from colour distortion caused by refraction. This means that photos and videos with the red filter will come out more vivid and natural. The red filter is designed to deepen the blue colour of the ocean and bring out the white colour of coral  

The use of a semi-hemispherical dome eliminates the perpendicular angle between the backing plate and the dome.The benefits of this are the elimination of circular reflection and improved water sheeting while reducing the form factor and maintaining full front face surface area.The side of the base has 10 screws, this design allows the dome to be fully disassembled for cleaning and service.

The dome port provides access to mode, power and shutter control buttons while installed. The upgraded version is designed with the lens hood which dramatically reduces the lens flare, protects the lens from damage, reduces unwanted contrast as well as provides richer colors and deeper saturation.
