How do I register to earn Frequent Flyer points through Kogan.com?
- 1 - Login or create a Kogan.com account.
- 2 - On the Kogan.com account dashboard, click on the Qantas Frequent Flyer tab on the left and enter your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number.
Once you have entered your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number into your Kogan.com account, every purchase you make from Kogan.com (whilst logged in to your Kogan.com account) will earn Qantas Points. Qantas Points will be transferred to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account within 60 days of purchase.
Can I add more than one Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number to my Kogan.com account?
No. Only one Qantas Frequent Flyer number can be linked to one Kogan.com account and they must belong to the same individual. The name on your Kogan.com must match the name your have registered with your Qantas Frequent Flyer account.
How soon after linking accounts will I start to earn Qantas Points?
Once your Kogan.com account is linked to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account, you will be able to earn points immediately.
Do I have to add my own Qantas Frequent Flyer number?

How many Qantas Points will I earn at Kogan.com?

1. Kogan.com Account
Kogan.com allows you to earn Qantas Points when you purchase products from kogan.com.
There is no cost to create a Kogan.com account. To earn Qantas Points you will also need to be a Qantas Frequent Flyer Program ("QFFP") member. If you are not already a QFFP member, you can join without incurring a joining fee by completing the QFFP membership application form online at www.Kogan.com/qantas, and by accepting the QFFP Terms and complying with all other QFFP joining and membership requirements.
The Terms and Conditions that relate to your Kogan.com account and the practice of earning Qantas Points through Kogan.com are set out below.
2. Defined Terms
In these Terms and Conditions we use the following terms:
'Award' has the meaning given to it in the QFFP Terms.
'Reward Flight' has the meaning given to it in the QFFP Terms.
'Link' means to connect our QFFP Account with your Kogan.com Account to receive the Qantas Points you earn through purchases made on your Kogan.com Account.
'Kogan.com Account' means an account held at Kogan.com
'Eligible Products' means products sold on Kogan.com, other than Kogan Travel products and Kogan Insurance policies.
'Other Benefits' are other promotions and special benefits which may be offered to you from time to time.
'Points' means Qantas Points.
'Qantas' means Qantas Airways Limited ABN 16 009 661 901.
'QFFP' means the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program.
'QFFP Account' means your Qantas Frequent Flyer Program membership account.
'QFFP Member' means a member of the QFFP.
'QFFP Terms' means the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program Terms and Conditions; available at: www.qantas.com.au/fflyer/dyn/program/terms
'Related Body Corporate' has the same meaning as given to that term in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).
'Remove' means to remove a QFFP number from your Kogan.com Account
3. Your Eligibility to Register to Join Kogan.com and Earn Points
(a) You are eligible to participate in, and earn Qantas Points through Kogan.com, if you:
- (i) are an individual (organisations cannot become Kogan.com members);
- (ii) have a Kogan.com Account(s) in your name
- (iii) are a member of the QFFP (to become a member see "Becoming a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program" below);
- (iv) Link your QFFP Account to your Kogan.com Account (see "Linking your QFFP Account to your Kogan.com Account" below) which must be in the same name ;
- (v) agree to these Terms and Conditions.
(a) When You register to join Kogan.com You are deemed to agree to these Terms and Conditions,
(b) You warrant that all information that You supply to Kogan.com or Qantas in relation to the QFFP and these Terms and Conditions is true, accurate and complete.
4. Becoming a Member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program
(a) The QFFP is owned, operated and administered by Qantas.
(b) Only individuals can become QFFP Members. Organisations cannot become QFFP Members.
(c) If You are not already a QFFP Member, You can join without incurring a joining fee by completing the QFFP membership application form online at www.kogan.com/qantas, and by accepting the QFFP Terms and complying with all other QFFP joining and membership requirements.
(d) The Terms and Conditions that apply to your membership of the QFFP and the earning, retention and redemption of Points by You are set out in the QFFP Terms. You can obtain a copy of the QFFP Terms at: www.qantas.com.au/fflyer/dyn/program/terms
5. Linking Your QFFP Account to Your Kogan.com Account
(a) To earn Points through Kogan.com, You must first Link your QFFP Account to your Kogan.com Account.
(b) Once Linked, You can unLink your QFFP Account from your Kogan.com Account at any time by contacting Kogan.com via the “Contact Us” page on the Kogan.com website. If You unLink your QFFP Account from your Kogan.com Account You will not earn any further Qantas Points from Kogan.com.h3>6. Earning Points
(a) You are eligible to earn 1 Qantas Point for each dollar (excluding GST) that You spend on purchases through your Kogan.com Account after the date on which You Link your QFFP Account to your Kogan.com Account; and
(b) You will earn Qantas Points when the payment of your Kogan.com order has been processed. Please allow up to 60 days after processing for your Qantas Points to be credited to your QFFP Account.
(c) The rate at which You earn Qantas Points is determined by Kogan.com and may change at any time.
(d) Qantas Points will be earned based on spend rounded down to the nearest dollar.
(e) You will only earn Qantas Points on a Kogan.com Account if at the time the account is processed, your QFFP Account has been Linked to your Kogan.com Account.
(f) Qantas Points will not be earned:
- (i) for payments on products or services not made through a Kogan.com Account;
- (ii) on payments that are refunded to You by Kogan.com;
- (iii) on purchases funded entirely by gift card
(g) If a gift card is used to fund a part of a purchase, the remaining amount will be eligible for Qantas Points.
(h) We do not exchange Qantas Points or Other Benefits for cash or gift-cards (see "How to redeem Points" below for information on how to redeem your Qantas Points through the QFFP).
(i) Qantas Points can be earned on eligible products only.
7. How to Track Your Points
You can check the Qantas Points that You have earned from Kogan.com and your total QFFP Points balance at wwww.qantas.com/frequentflyer.
8. How to Redeem Points
Points earned from Kogan.com can only be redeemed through Qantas Frequent Flyer (not Kogan.com) in accordance with the QFFP Terms. To learn how You can redeem your Qantas Points, your range of redemption options and to examine the QFFP Terms, please visit: qantas.com/frequentflyer.
9. Reversing Points
Kogan.com may request Qantas to reverse (debit) any Qantas Points that have been or are to be credited to a QFFP Account. This may be done where You have returned goods or been refunded for services under transactions on which You have earned Qantas Points or where there are other grounds which we or Qantas consider reasonable to warrant a reversal.
10. Bonus Qantas Points
From time to time, Kogan.com may offer You bonus Qantas Points. Separate terms and conditions may apply to the offer of these bonus Qantas Points (in addition to these Terms and Conditions).
11. Claiming Qantas Points
Qantas Points are only awarded on transactions that occur after linking a Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number to a Kogan Account. Qantas Points cannot be claimed on past purchases. No exceptions apply.
12. The Qantas Frequent Flyer Program
(a) QFFP membership is determined by Qantas, not Kogan.com. Kogan.com determines some matters, such as the Eligible Products, other qualifying requirements for earning Qantas Points and the rate at which You earn Qantas Points. QFFP membership, Qantas Points (following them being credited to your QFFP Account) (including earning, crediting, redeeming and expiry of Qantas Points), the number of Qantas Points required to be redeemed for Awards and changes to the number of Qantas Points required to be redeemed for Awards are all subject to the QFFP Terms.
(b) The QFFP Terms apply to QFFP membership and include terms and conditions for earning Qantas Points on Qantas and other airlines (and other non-airline partners), redeeming Qantas Points for Awards, changes to the QFFP, cancellation of your QFFP membership and/or Points, expiry of Qantas Points and privacy related matters. Other terms and conditions for earning Qantas Points from other Qantas program partners, and for redemptions and Awards, may also apply.
(c) Qantas may make decisions about the QFFP which may affect your earning and redemption of Qantas Points and QFFP membership.
(d) For the QFFP Terms and for detailed information about the QFFP, please see qantas.com/frequentflyer. If You have not provided Kogan.com and Qantas with your email address You may not be able to access some of the benefits of the QFFP.
(e) The QFFP Terms and the Conditions of Carriage and Fare Rules of the applicable airline apply to any air travel that You undertake as a result of your participation in the QFFP.
(f) The number of seats available for Award Flight bookings under the QFFP is limited and some flights may not have Award Flight seats available. In addition, You will be required to pay any ticket levies, taxes and other airport related charges (including any applicable GST on those taxes and charges) which may be due on the redemption of Points for Award Flights through the QFFP (even where no fare is payable for the applicable ticket), as well as any taxes, fees, levies and charges that are payable (including any applicable GST on those taxes and charges) on the redemption of Points for other Awards.
(g) Qantas may vary the QFFP Terms and the Qantas Conditions of Carriage and Fare Rules and partner airlines may vary their equivalent conditions of carriage and fare rules from time to time. The current QFFP Qantas Terms and Conditions of Carriage and Fare Rules and partner airlines equivalent conditions of carriage and fare rules are those available at qantas.com/frequentflyer
13. Claims and Complaints
(a) If You notify us that your QFFP Account has not been appropriately credited with Points to which You are entitled pursuant to these Terms and Conditions (a "Claim"), then we will, within 30 business days after receiving your Claim:
(i) advise Qantas either:
A. that You are not entitled to Qantas Points under these Terms and Conditions; or
B. that You are entitled to Qantas Points under these Terms and Conditions, in which case Kogan.com will then advise Qantas to credit your QFFP Account with those Qantas Points. Please allow up to 60 days after the day You are notified of this decision for your Qantas Points to be credited to your QFFP Account; and
(ii) notify You of our decision regarding your Claim, and the reason for that decision.
14. Taxation Implications
(a) You are responsible and liable for any taxation implications relating to your participation in the QFFP.
(b) Kogan.com recommends You seek independent taxation advice in respect of the possible taxation and fringe benefits taxation consequences arising from your participation in the QFFP.
15. Privacy and Consents
(b) It is a condition of holding a Kogan.com account that You consent to:
- (i) Kogan.com using your personal information to operate and provide You with membership benefits of the QFFP and to bring You Other Benefits from Kogan.com.
- (iii) Qantas and Kogan.com exchanging, collecting and using personal information relating to your QFFP membership and Kogan.com account, including your name, address, date of birth , email address and QFFP Account number, for the purposes of Kogan.com providing You with Points and Qantas providing You with the benefits of the QFFP.
(c) If You do not provide personal information, or do not consent to these terms, You will not be able to create a Kogan.com account or enjoy the benefits of QFFP membership.
16. No Liability
(a) Subject to its obligations under law, in particular consumer guarantees in the Australian Consumer Law (and other similar consumer protections) that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified, Kogan.com will incur no liability to You in relation to any loss, damage, costs or expenses suffered or incurred by You as a result of:
- (i) the suspension and/or termination of your Kogan.com account;
- (ii) the ability or inability for Kogan.com account holders to earn Qantas Points; or
- (iii) the operation of the QFFP (including the redemption of Points).
(b) If You are a QFFP member You may be able to redeem your Qantas Points for Awards under the QFFP. Kogan.com is not the supplier to You of these Awards. The terms for supply of Awards are the QFFP Terms, not these Terms and Conditions or any other Kogan.com terms.
17. Changes to these Terms and Conditions
(a) Kogan.com reserves the right to change, suspend or terminate these Terms and Conditions at any time.
(b) Where we change these Terms and Conditions, or any benefits under the QFFP, an updated copy of these Terms and Conditions will be available on our website at www.kogan.com/qantas. Members should regularly check www.kogan.com/qantas for updates to the Terms and Conditions.
