These are 180ml bottles of high grade Glow in the Dark Acrylic water based paint; 1 per colour: AQUA, GREEN, BLUE, ORANGE, WHITE, & LILAC. GID paint JUST glows. It NEEDS charging to keep it glowing. UV is its main source of charge. We use UV Black lights to help charge the paints in some cases. GDP pigment is mixed with a medium which is WHITE in colour. When fully dry the crystals in the medium can CHARGE and be seen. Colours play a major part on GID products’ GLOW TIMES. With GID Coloured Pigments the colour does NOT last as long as the glow. Once the crystal is FULLY charged the crystal will glow a colour. Since they can’t hold the same charge continuously, the colour fades to a white-off white & then continues to glow until it runs out of charge. GREEN GID Pigment is the most natural colour in the range. It has the LONGEST lasting colour & glow time. Some companies promote 8+hrs glow time. The colour actually lasts about 30min to a couple of hrs, fades to white, & then slowly fades down over the next few hrs. This is Glow in the Dark; this applies to ALL colours. AQUA is the 2nd strongest colour, nearly as bright as Green, but doesn’t last as long. AQUA holds its colour for about 1-2hrs, & its white glow time is about 6hrs. BLUE is also a strong colour. Average glow time down to 0 is about 4-6hrs. LILAC is the HARDEST colour to CHARGE. To get a true purple we mix a number of crystal variants (some say this is filler, but it’s NOT). The more pigment used the stronger the colour. Average glow time to 0 is about 3-5hrs. This colour is classed as a medium glow & needs a strong UV to charge. WHITE glows white but can also glow a white-blue colour. It has a short glow time of 3-4hrs & is not like the other colours. ORANGE shows well under UV Black light, but has an average glow time of 2-3hrs & a short colour glow. Not suitable for many applications. ALL PHOTOS/IMAGES ARE PROPERTY OF GLOMANIA & PROGLOW USA
