Risky Business - Margaret River Malbec - 2017 (6 Bottle Case)

Colour – Very deep purple with a dark crimson hue.

Aroma – Deep brooding plum fruit aromas with hints of spicy berries and violets.

Palate – This full-bodied wine is well flavoured with delicious juicy plum and berry fruit characters. A full, round palate with fine lingering tannins on the finish. Enjoy now or cellar for 5 years or so.



Fruit source – 80% Frankland 20 Margaret River.

Frankland River is well suited to Malbec due to the warm days and cold nights. The vineyards heavier red soil helps to build structure in the Malbec and the cool nights help enhance colour.

Margaret River fruit complimenting the wine bringing ripe fruit aromas and a dark fruit fleshy palate. Full of flavour and absolutely full of pleasure.

This is our third release of our Malbec. This small batch creation has resulted in a complex, incomparable and extremely moorish Malbec.

Food Suggestion

Malbec has softer tannins compared to some of its red counterparts, like Cabernet Sauvignon, which means Malbec goes well with lean cuts of meat like flank, sirloin and skirt steak. Even when you want to change it up a bit, this bold wine pairs perfectly with chicken and other meats like lamb and pork.
