Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Lens
The L-class lenses are Canon’s flagship professional range of lenses. Dust and moisture resistant combined with impecable performance capabilities, this lens is designed to give you the absolute best image quality a lens can offer.
Constant Maximum Aperture
Shoot through the entire lens focal range at a constant, fast aperture speed of f/2.8. With this aperture speed, you can keep control over depth of field in every shot.
Canon’s IS system allows you to take shots at shutter speeds up to four times slower, without experiencing motion blur or camera shake artifacts.
Fluorite & Ultra-low Dispersion (UD) Lens Elements
This lens features elements made from fluorite, which compensates for the difference in refractive indexes for wavelengths of light (colours). The five UD elements are also used to maximise constrast and colour through the zoom range.
A ring-type ultrasonic motor drives the lense’s autofocus. Not only is it extremely fast, but the motor holds torque to ensure the point of focus is reached accurately without overshooting. Full-time manual override is also available, without having to leave AF mode.
