Bought on Monday. Arrived Wednesday - excellent. Plugged it in and it worked immediately. It replaced an expensive PVR that lasted 13 months (just outside warranty) and cost 6 times the cost of this new one. Works amazingly. Even if it only lasts 12 months it is still great value. Thanks. Plus it gave me a use for my old external drive which was gathering dust.

This unit is just tops! And for the price - is absolutely fantastic value. And so easy. Less than 6 months ago I paid nearly $600 for a top brand Set Top box with unbuilt recorder, and the quality is appalling!! Stacks of problems, dreadful faults, and I've sent it back twice. This Kogan unit is easy to use, clear to understand and follow, and beats the expensive unit by 100%. Even buying an exterior (own power supply) hard drive, this Twin Tuner was a fantastic buy!! Thoroughly recommend.

A brilliant little machine. I agree with other comments that it would be better if timer recorded programs could pick up the program name. My solution at the moment is to keep a note book to write down the program name and the station, time and date so that I can immediately select the program I want to play. Otherwise after 2 weeks it is a bit hard for me to identify which recorded program is which! (But then I am 73) I use a Samsung HDD which I had used on my computer. I found that the machine could run a slide show of images recorded from a computer program and identify titles and play music recorded on the drive from my computer. Thoroughly recommended even if the manual is a bit limited. Trial and error soon sorts that out and adds to satisfaction of setting up the device.

Good value for money, so much so that I'm in the process of buying a 2nd unit for the caravan.Equally as good as a more expensive "name" brand I have. Good work Kogan !
