The ad said 'Region Free' so I was surprised when I put a DVD in it said wrong region and rejected the DVD. On scanning the internet, I found the code which lets you unlock the region. Now I am very happy with the player. I haven't tried a bluRay disc yet, but the DVDs and USB media works very well.

Unit was delivered in just under two days after ordering it, wow, very fast!!!. Fast load[ing] times, reasonably quiet motor, picture and sound quality both excellent. Online support to unlock multi-region play of both DVD and blu-ray was very prompt, with the steps being simple and easy to follow, yet also explained in great detail. Overall a great unit, however, I have to knock off one star on its rating due to purchasing it only a few weeks ago for $40 more than todays Frugal Friday sale price, pity. Otherwise, I would have definitely given it five stars.

Picture quality is average, mechanism is a bit noisy, software and controls are fine. Most annoying are the power LEDs that shine BRIGHT BLUE when on, and BRIGHT RED when switched off. Gauche! For the price, it's just fine. Recommended.

Thank you for the extremely fast delivery of the Blu Ray Player, you advised me on Monday morning of the posting and I received it on Tuesday Lunch time. All was connected within 10 minutes and after 15 minutes I was watching my first Blu Ray Movie. Great Thank you Dieter
